FORT COLLINS, CO.

WELCOME TO THE
OLD STONE CHURCH

About

A Ministry Center for Northern Colorado

The Old Stone Church at 328 Remington St. in Old Town is the oldest church building still in existence in Fort Collins. Built in 1897 by the Baptist Church, it has gone through many owners, and is privately owned today. The primary occupant is the Colorado House of Prayer. Also using the building is Arcadia Ministries, Ascent Project Church, Cityreach, the Colorado School of Ministry, High Mountain Korean Church, New Hope Church, The Korean Language School, and Watchmen's Coffee. (See the MINISTRIES page for details.)

Right now the founders of the Colorado House of Prayer are seeking to purchase the building from the current owner. The strategy they are pursuing is unique. Through a process called Tokenization a new entity has been formed called Old Stone Church, LLC. The end result is that the people will own the building, and the tenants will rent from the LLC. The primary purpose of the LLC is not profit but service to the community. The ministries who inhabit the building will receive reduced rent in exchange for what they do, but cover all the costs of operating the building. The people who invest in the project will maintain an equity position in downtown commercial real estate, and do good at the same time. The net result is a win for everyone.

For further details, see the section called "TOKENIZATION" on this website. If you have any question please email the manager of the project at manager@OldStoneChurchFC.com
